Friends: It would be a good idea to have a back up system in place: another internet connection and computer ready; also a brokerage where one can call up and monitor the price or egress the trade by means of the phone automated system as Ameritrade, or negotiate with them prior to trading for a fair backstop aspect, as, calling a broker for the same commission as the internet. Thanks for your reply. I lost good chance to long FAZ when market dived after Gartner revealed Obama plan regarding helping financial institution. Soon after his speech market dived hard and my platform freezed for good 5min. when it came back FAZ when up over $5. I still can’t forget that. What a opportunity lost.

matstermanxxx you better go look at AMAT after the 6:45ish time you pointed out the clearing of remaing sellers…that’s a pull back (a weak one) followed by the continuing uptrend. Go back and find historical data before shooting your (incorrect) mouth off.

i’m not sure if i can speak for everyone, but it happens on all plattforms. i’ve heard traders complaining about the software freezing up during very high volume in the market (including myself) it will freeze, then when it comes back you see a lot bigger of a volume bar.

Andy, steve, whatever your name is, learn how to read charts. You see at like 6:45ish, that long wick down…that clears out any reaming sellers…that is a serious turn around point. So, you say to yourself..if it pops over that close you are in….8.65ish? Set a .10 stop, and ride it. Why wait till it peaks?

Nice video. I use DSL for my high speed but I realized when market move fast specially in the morning and last hour of the day if I open SPY in my level two if freezes the platform (Sterling). Anytime, in volatile and fast moving market this happen. Is it because of DSL or something else. What you guys use for highspeed connection. I thought DSL should be good enough for daytrading. Any suggestion?
