can someone explain etf trading in lay man terms. I wan to go into short term trading.How does it work?
Want happens if i invest 1000 dollars. Is it possible to loose all my money? How can i make money short term and how much?

Normally you cant loose all your money investing in ETF. For instant STI etf cannot fall to 0 as it tracks our STI index. I feel it is safer to invest in Indexs ETF but you need more capital. What ever you earn depends on the economy outcome. Safe and sound. Like STI ETF now at $1.75 you need 1750 to buy one lot. So ever 10cents the ETF prices goes up/down you earn/loose 100dollars.
