What’s the best place online to do stock market day trading?

By admin · March 25, 2010 · Filed in Stock Day Trading · 6 Comments »

i.e. lowest fees, best graphs/info, etc

I use interactivebrokers.com because they are by far the cheapest, but they are not nearly as user friendly as most. Optionsxpress has great tools, virtual trading and good learning items but your at 9.99 on both sides of the trade. Ive also heard good things about think or swim, schwab, and scottrade too. It all depends on how much hand holding you need in your trading.

Good luck

I am looking to buy the PCAA end of day stock market trading system. Do the results justify the costs?

By admin · March 24, 2010 · Filed in Stock Day Trading · 7 Comments »

I have been to their office and met them, they answered all my questions and the software looks easy enough but i really want to hear how its performing from actual users.

Hi Cliff,
I think you might be looking at the same system i currently operate. It’s software through pcaa that helps you know what to buy and sell and is done while the market is closed.
If so, i can safely say it does justify the initial cost.
I had an accident a while back and had to stop working for 6 months. Stressed out, i started looking for work from home businesses so i could keep generating an income. By chance or fate i came across a brochure from pcaa. Just like you i did the checks and nervously decided to go with them.
It would easily be the best financial decision i have ever made…i now have a regular income each month. I would say an average of around 5k to 8k each month.
That might not compete with the big players or the day traders or the financial advisors, but they didn’t have a solution for me when i was out of work. pcaa did, and i am glad i took advantage of it.

I like to actively day trade on the stock market. I read books about day trading. I need help start trading.?

By admin · March 22, 2010 · Filed in Stock Day Trading · 4 Comments »

I have read a lot of books about day trading. But I need someone who himself is a day trader to help me actually start trading.

I’m not sure I understand the question. But there are many forums on the web where day traders pump and dump stocks.

Can someone give me a good day trading stock.?

Want to day trade a stock that moves up and down at least 10% per day

Ah, the fine print takes away what the large print gives. I was going to suggest you look at APOG, GFIG, or TWIN but they are not as erratic as you asked. Maybe CFSG or ENG. I normally don’t scout such hamsters on speed, so good luck. (QQQQ is the common game a lot of day traders play)

How often can I buy the same stock? (Day trading)?

By admin · March 20, 2010 · Filed in Stock Day Trading · 3 Comments »

IBM for example. If I bought it 4/30 and sold it 5/1, can I buy it back on 5/2?
- If I can buy it on 5/2, when can I then sell it?

What are the regulations governing this? (BEST ANSWER will be chosen based on a legitimate link)
It is a margin account, if that makes any difference…

You can buy and sell the stock as often as you want as long as you are in compliance with the rules & regulations.

Your example is not considered day trading since you did not buy and sell the same security on the same day

You can buy on 4/30, then sell it on 5/1 an buy it back on 5/2 and sell it either on 5/2 or whenever you want

BUT you can not sell a stock unless it have been paid for in full and you can not use the proceeds of the sale to cover the purchase,

So if you bought on 4/30, the stock must be paid in full by 5/1 (when you sold it). If you didn’t pay for it, your account would be restricted for 90 days or until monies are received in to pay for the purchase in full

If you buy it back on 5/2, the 4/30 purchase had to be paid in full,

The payment for the purchase of securities is governed by the Federal Reserve under Regulation T All brokerage regulators have rules governing the timelyness of the receipt of monies to cover purchases
