Question about stock trading..I want to buy and sell stock daily and wondering how does day trading work?
I am interesting in buying 2,000 dollars worth of stock and then selling it if I can profit at least $75 from selling it. I am interesting in doing this twice a week but will only do it if I can sell and profit off of the first stocks I buy. How can I do this, bc I know there are different restrictions and delays bc of stock settlement.
Unfortunately, it is just simply not that easy. If it was, EVERYONE would do it and we would all be toasting ourselves as our yachts rafted together in St. Lucia.
Yes there are restrictions and those are a few mouse clicks and keystrokes away. Do your research.
If you "will only do it if I can sell and profit off of the first stocks (you) buy" then don’t do it. You might get lucky or you might not.
Did you have any idea at all this morning where Boeing was going to close at this afternoon? Or Alcoa? Or 3M? Of course not. No one did (and don’t let anyone tell you different). Day trading is not for the timid nor is it for people with a low tolerance for risk. If you want to learn how to do it, unfortunately for you, it is going to take much more than simply asking a question on Yahoo Answers.
Which US based commodities/fx broker offers emini index futures?
Which US based commodities/fx broker offers emini index futures? I’ve heard you can trade stock index futures in minilots just like trading currencies and commodities(ie pay no commission just the spread) and was wondering which US based fx brokers offer that?
I was under the impression that commodities(futures) do not have a flat commission but a "spread" from which a broker makes money. How on earth can somone make money with a $100 forex account otherwise.
I already know that gold, silver and currencies have next to low or no commission such as the flat dollar commission on stocks.
I need a list of brokers that sell futures in minilots without extravagent fees.
1. All futures brokers offer the eMini
2. You’re talking about currencies. When you trade futures, you pay a commission, whether currencies or the eMini or oil or any other commodity. When you trade the currency spot cash market, you pay the spread instead of a set commision. Personally, I prefer currency futures; the spread is a rip-off and costs a lot more than the $6 commision I pay. Try Forex.com (forget FXCM)
You can trade both futures and forex spot through NinjaTrader free trading platform

Is MACD is the best for intraday Trading?
I am using MACD charts for intraday trading, is it the best for intraday trading?
If not then please tell me which is the best chart for Technical Analysis or indiacator for the Intraday Trading?
There isn’t a best indicator for trading. All technical indicators are derived from price, volume, and time. Technical indicators are more of a boondoggle and cause analysis paralysis. If there was an indicator that looked into the future 15 or 20 minutes, we would all be millionaires in less than a month.
Good Luck,
Can you make just as much profit trading financial bonds as you can trading short term stock options?
Does anyone know? I mean short durations like 4 weeks, 6 weeks? Thanks
Bonds are easier to make a profit than options.
Why?
Options are written with various factors which make the price at a premium.
If you’re writing them, you can make money easier than "trading them.
A New Career – $$ – Day Trading Stock
What are your going to do now?
Lost your job? Your career is over? Your business failed?
Yet, you have some trading experience and the resources and passion to start a new career/business.
Then day trading may be for you.
Unlike other individual financial instruments traded, with stock day trading there are thousands of stocks that can provide dozens of day trading opportunities (big money wins) – any trading day, any time of the trading day. This article is about: day trading stock, trading stock, stock day trading, day trades, stock day trade and the like and you.
A fresh perspective about Stock Day Trading.
While daytrading, It is the job of the day trader to find setups, stocks that present opportunities to make substantial money, throughout the trading day, online day trading, especially day trading stock.
The successful day trader should be looking for stock in a tension state, which is simply a stock with a daily price movement substantially away from a price balance, technically speaking, when you view charts. A tension state would be much like viewing a pendulum with the ball pulled away from neutral enough that, when released, it tends to accelerates to its neutral state and beyond.
Stocks, like the pendulum ball, tend to seek a balanced state, and like the ball, they return to balance and beyond, then fluctuate above and below the neutral position as they eventually return to some state of balance, or non-tension state, above, below, or close to the point of beginning.
Do stock prices behave this way while daytrading during the same trading day? Yes and no.
There are times when price of a stock will be completely filled after a gap open (price move from the prior day close) that morning of day trading or later in the trading day. Other times you will see a 50% retracement in the same day. Most times a gap move at market open will hold this tension state or price move the whole day and fill completely or partially on subsequent days.
As there is no way to predict how the price of a stock will behave after a sudden, major price move, it is best advised to be out of any of these day trades before the end of the day trading day.
Day trading stock, we find, is also far more interesting, as each stock represents the performance of an individual company or companies with tangible and recognizable products and services exchanged worldwide, in many instances involving companies managed by recognized leaders in their field. Each stock has both a technical (long and short-term price charts) and a fundamental (financial performance, balance sheet, profit and loss statements, earnings and so on) histories – both in flux, both impacting price positively and negatively. Therefore, trading stocks is far more interesting, and frequently more challenging than other forms of day trading to make money yet the profits are unlimited for those who learn to play the new game well.
Why day trading as opposed to swing trading or investing?
The last few months of 2008 have been crises times for most stock traders, where holding after the market close presents enormous risk. Stock prices can move 5, 10, even 20% or more over night leaving swing traders in shock at the open of the following day trading day. For all those buy and hold investors, their experience was no less shocking where, within just a few months, their mutual fund, IRA, or private investments can be 30, 40, and 50% depleted in overall value in a matter of months, wiping out decades of gains.
Day trading stocks, buying and selling stocks within the same trading day, with no exceptions, is in our view the best day trading opportunity in the NYSE and Nasdaq markets while day trading stock, trading stock, stock day trading, day trades, stock day trade.
Done well, gaining the confidence and competence with a consultant / coach, trading with a winning system that consistently gives you anticipated results, stock day trading can be the most rewarding (both for the joy of winning and wealth building profitability) trading approach we know of (and we have tried them all).
You too can earn thousands a day – day trading stock, should you qualify.

Penny Stocks – Short Term Stock Trading
For trading on a short-term method for trading daily price movements that relies entirely on odds and percentages . It is a method as opposed to a system. Very few people can blindly follow a system, though many find it easier to be discretionary in a systematic way.
Because this short-term swing technique generates frequent trades, it is important to know the “correct plays,” to lock in profits, and to seek the “true trend.” Taking a loss is merely playing for better position. One trades strictly for probable future results, not for what the market might do.
To know the “correct play” is to know whether to buy or sell first, to exit or hold. Trades are based on “objective points,” which are simply the previous day’s high and low. Movement between these two points determines the “true trend.”
When swing trading, adjust your expectations. The lower your expectations, the happier you will be and, ironically, the more money you will probably make! Entries are a piece of cake, but you must also trust yourself to get out of bad situations and trades. It is important to use tighter stops when trading swings and wider stops when trading trends.
This method teaches you to anticipate! Never react! Know what you are going to do before the market opens. Always have a plan–but be flexible! “See” your stop (support or resistance) before initiating a trade. Know how to trade out of trouble situations and get off the hook with the smallest possible loss.
Finally, never trade in narrow, dead markets. The swings are too small. Never chase a market. Rather than worry that you’ve missed a move, think instead.
